"ONE MAN. ONE GUITAR"

Recorded at Winterwood Studios in Eureka Springs, this
ten-song disc is a pleasant reminder that the hills are indeed
alive with music. It is as rich and complex as a healer bag of
herbs and as simple as one man, one guitar. Although in this
particular case, the man with the guitar has backup (Robb
McCormick on a variety of instruments, Brian lee on guitars, and
Kendon Lawrence on drums). Still and all, the sound throughout
is based on that one man, one guitar. Neal is a gifted songwriter
and a good singer, more than able to carry the load.

"GOOD TOE-TAPPERS THAT REACH OUT & GRAB YOU"

After having listened to the album, thisclose, a few times, I myself
would have to say that it gets better each time. I have trouble
picking a favorite because I like all of the songs. But I would
have to say that "thisclose" (stars & cars) is my favorite song by
very slim margins over "Conversations 'Bout the Weather,"
"Burning For the Union," and "That Kind of Man." They are all
good toe-tappers that reach out and grab you. At least they do
me. I believe a lot of people would appreciate Reese Neal. I am
glad that we literally 'stumbled' onto him.
